Honeywell's process of offering intervals of reminders for re-orders is quite useful. Such things as filters can offer be forgotten in daily activities, but Honeywell's "periodic reminders for re-orders" is extremely useful. And, delivery after ordering is always very prompt (and accurate)...!!!
We love these filters, and have used them for a long time. They work well to keep bacteria out of the water and they last at least 4 + weeks, with regular daily flipping, and I also run fresh water through them when cleaning out machine and putting in fresh water. We use our humidifiers year round because its healthy for you to do this. Easy and helpful product,
Honeywell HAC-504 Humidifier filter works incredibly well. This year's frigid temps have resulted in homes with little humidity. The humidifier and this very effective filter helped add needed humidity and made my family more comfortable.

Have been using with HAC-504 for years - typically replace every month.
We've tried generic filters bought on eBay, and they're functional, but the genuine Honeywell is well worth the little extra money. Longer lasting and most importantly, puts more humidity in the air. Water usage is noticeabley more. In short, love them!
I consider myself a humidifier connoisseur - I've tried multiple brands, and my hygrometer shows the Honeywell Humidifier to be the best. You can literally feel the difference when you turn this baby on! I also tried the generic replacement filters and they do not provide as much humidity as the Honeywell brand ones do. It's worth it to buy these, and I love that I can set seasonal reminders to buy them on the website. I'll be a Honeywell customer for life!

The "AW" in the model number stands for Air Washing. This refers to the updated, optimized filter design that includes a blue pre-filter layer. As dry air is pulled into the humidifier, this layer "washes" the air by capturing large airborne particles such as dust, lint, and pet fur before the air passes through the wicking filter to be humidified.
This filter has an exceptionally high compatibility range. It fits nearly all Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifiers, including:

Depending on your water quality and usage, the filter should be replaced every 30 to 60 days. If you have very hard water, minerals (like calcium) will build up faster, making the filter hard and brittle. You should change it immediately if you notice a decrease in moisture output or if the filter develops an odor.
