Product Reviews
I have a 40+ year old Skuttle and could no longer find the pads in stores. Honeywell had the ones I needed and at a better price than I had been paying. Also, they arrived before the stated date. I am pleased with the product and Honeywell's performance.
The quality is good and the fit was perfect. It was easy to order and the delivery was quick. I am satisfied with this purchase and will buy it again.
Product FAQs
This drum-style replacement pad is a versatile fit for several older or specific whole-house humidifier models, including:
- Skuttle 45
- Hamilton 2D
- Montgomery Ward 500
- Wait 2000 SF
- General 65
The HC12A1024 is a foam drum replacement pad. This foam material is specifically designed to absorb water effectively and remain resilient as the drum rotates, allowing air from your furnace to pick up moisture and distribute it through your home.
For the best performance and to ensure clean moisture output, it is recommended to replace the pad twice per heating season. Regular replacement prevents the foam from becoming stiff or clogged with mineral deposits, which can reduce the unit's efficiency.
The physical dimensions of the HC12A1024 pad are approximately 7 x 6.4 x 2.3 in. It is designed to fit precisely around the drum assembly of the compatible models listed above.
