Once again...

As always, the HoneyWell store made the purchase extremely easy and the filters arrived at my door and sooner than expected. This was the first time I ordered from HoneywellStore. Normally I shop in brick and mortar stores for ease of return if necessary, but my humidifier is old enough that no one carries filters for it anymore. I found out on line what the part number was for what I needed, and then called the 847 number to talk with a rep to make sure the number I had was correct. The rep was very professional and competent and handled my order quickly and efficiently. He stated that I should receive my order in 4 or 5 business days. Honeywell sent me an email first stating that an order by me had been generated with them. A couple hours later I received another email stating my order had been shipped and gave package tracking info. This was on a Monday afternoon. The following Saturday morning, 5 days later, my package arrived. When it did, I was worried as the sticker on the package stated it was some kind of device for something I had never heard of. However, after opening the box, I realized that the shipping department had simply used the box for something else to ship my filters in. When I need replacement filters again in a few weeks I will be reordering them through HoneywellStore. com.

I'm in a condo, and I was having a problem with a noisy HVAC. The head engineer told me it was my untrasonic mist humidifiers that were spewing out white dust water that was clogging my HVAC filters. He recommended a traditional Honeywell humidifier with these great replaceable filters that stop the white particles from getting into the air. I started using them a year ago, and it solved my noisy HVAC in addition to adding the needed humidity. I'm sticking with Honeywell.

I reorder the original equipment filters or wicks every year. I have found out early that cheap substitutes don't work as well. I'm pleased with the humidifier and the filters.
