Excellent Replacement HEPA Filter I’m very pleased with this replacement HEPA filter for my Honeywell Designer Series air purifier. It fit perfectly and was easy to replace. With the recent series of wildfires here in Oregon, having a fresh HEPA filter gave me added peace of mind knowing my air purifier was ready to handle periods of poorer air quality. I especially appreciate the auto feature on the Designer Series, which automatically increases the fan speed when air quality worsens and then cycles back down as conditions improve. I’m also stocking up so I have a replacement ready to go several months from now. It’s nice knowing I’ll have a fresh filter on hand when it’s time for the next replacement. When you change the hepa filter, the "Check Filter" or "Check Pre-Filter" light will remain on until it is reset. While the air purifier is on, press the lit button and hold it for approximately two seconds. This will turn the filter light off.
In general, the unit will be most effective when doors and windows are closed. It is recommended that you run your air purifier while you are at home to help clean the air. If desired or conditions warrant, you may run your air purifier 24 hours a day
