We just installed this a few days ago. It's easy to set up once you know your AC/Heater system. So far so good, I don't have any complaints yet. I like this because now I can access my thermostat online to change the settings in case that I forget to do at the base.

Installation was a snap, setup went flawlessly. Found my WiFi Router, popped out on the web & is functioning perfectly with all capabilities. Not a whimper of imperfection. Thanks Honeywell.

My wife bought this thermostat per my recommendation after reviewing all energy saving/cost cutting options and their effectiveness at reducing our monthly payments overall. Amongst the thermostats that I researched were the various color touchscreen wifi Honeywell offers, the Nest thermostat, the Ecobee Wifi Thermostat, the Allure Eversense Wifi thermostat and the Venstar color touchscreen thermostats. In the end, we went with the Honeywell 9590 because of a combination of factors: 1. Price $279.99 on sale 2. Mobile accessibility options iphone/android, computer, tablet 3. Precise customizability of background color and font color to match our walls light lime color 4. Voice control my wife has multiple surgeries planned which will make her confined to couch 5. Ease of installation and configuration of thermostat settings Really the only improvements that I could see Honeywell making on this thermostat are the following: 1. Support controlling Honeywell whole-house Humidifier/Dehumidifier 2. Option to have 6 day weather forecast screensaver 3. Camera on front for wall color matching face toward wall when powered to match color/hue/brightness/etc and to enable basic home security remote viewing via WiFi connection On a side note, the new thermostat has opened up a few humorous events thanks to my wife. She keeps trying to put her mouth right in front of the touchscreen when using voice commands when I set it for the couch which is 10 feet away. Also, she was watching one of her tv series on her laptop on the couch and one of the actresses said Hello and then a few seconds later said something along the lines of Getting cold. Well, this resulted in the thermostat responding back that it was raising the temperature 1 degree. Kind of funny because the wife had no idea why the thermostat was talking! All summed up, I recommend this thermostat to anyone looking to reduce energy costs, get fun tech in their home while maintaining aesthetics and not break the bank.

Purchased this for my summer home. It was easy to install. Has more color and program options than you can ever fully use. I am not very computer saavy and was able to connect to my wifi in order to remotely control the temperature. Is easy to use and understand. Voice commands work perfectly every time.

Delivery was fast! Replacing my existing thermostat with this one was very easy. Wifi setup and connecting the thermostat to the Honeywell app was simple. Because I have two HVAC systems in my home the app has separate pull downs for each unit so I was able to set unique names and programs. Very happy so far...
