Which air purifier models are compatible with Filter F?

Filter F is a versatile replacement designed to fit several classic Honeywell models. It replaces original filter parts 21500, 22500, and 23500. It is compatible with air purifier models 11520, 17200, 18150, 50150, 12520, 17400, and 50200.

How many filters do I need for my unit?

Depending on your specific model, you may need to stack two filters on top of each other to form a complete seal. For example:

Models 11520, 17200, 18150, and 50150 require two stacked filters but do not need foam gaskets.
Models 12520, 17400, and 50200 require two stacked filters plus the included foam gaskets to ensure a tight fit.

How often should I replace these HEPA filters?

These are "Long Life" filters that can remain effective for 1 to 5 years depending on your environment.

Heavy daily use: Replace every year.

HEPA Filter Replacement Guide

Carefully stack two HEPA filters on top of each other, so they are evenly aligned.
Depending on your air purifier model, you may need to use the included foam gaskets to form a tight seal within your air purifier.
Air purifier models 12520, 17400, and 50200 require two HEPA filters and two foam gaskets.
Air purifier models 11520, 17200, 18150 and 50150 require two HEPA filters but do not require any foam gaskets.
Optionally, if you are using a Pre-Filter, carefully wrap the black carbon Pre-Filter around the stack of two HEPA filters.
Place the wrapped filters into the internal chamber of the air purifier.
After filter replacement is finished you may reset the filter check light.

These HEPA filters should remain efective for 1-5 years, depending on the environment in which the air purifer is operating. Replace your HEPA filters every 3-5 years for light situational usage, every 2-3 years for normal seasonal usage and every year for heavy daily use.
