- This product ("insert") is intended to be used with the Youth/Adult Extra Small Size Honeywell Dual Layer Face Cover ("Face Mask"). The Face Mask is authorized for emergency use as source control. Source control refers to the use of a face mask over the mouth and nose to contain that individual's respiratory secretions to help prevent transmission from infected individuals who may or may not have symptoms of COVID-19. The face mask is intended to be used with single-use inserts. There has not been testing of the effectiveness of the disposable insert when placed in the mask. Accordingly, this product is not a respiratory protective device, nor a substitute for filtering face piece respirators or for surgical face masks.

The filters for the Honeywell mask is two layers and the mask itself is two layers. Four layers of protection plus the filters will filter 0.03 micron particles, the same as an N95 mask. All that aside, these are the most comfortable masks ever. There is room in front of your face so no mask touching causing itching or tickling, no feeling closed in. I've worn mine for 10 hours without a problem and I'm pretty picky. It's also nice to be able to just slot in a new filter when needed. It makes it easier to wash the cloth part, too.

As the daughter of an HVAC specialist, I know the quality of Honeywell products. When it came time to select personal protective equipment I also looked to the expertise of Honeywell. These N95 filters with the dual layer face cover are effective, comfortable and as stylish as can be expected from health protection. The filters are easy to place in the mask, remain secure in place and are easy to carry for changing. The outer covering is easily washed and quick dry. I'm very pleased with the performance and price of this combination product and have referred others to it!

The inside filters are thin, and practical. They fit perfectly in the mask. I do intense work out session with the mask on. That is the reason I bought this specific mask for and I didn't disappoint. The filters don't impede your breathing, or take up space in the mask.
