December 26, 2015A long-lasting bulb for the air purifier!
I have been running two Honeywell air purifiers 24/7 for six years straight, and just replaced the UV bulb in each for the second time. Thus, each bulb lasts approximately 3 years! That is exceptional. Thank you!

The Ultraviolet light has helped so much in reducing the mold spores and other allergens in my home. The musty smell is mostly gone, and I can breathe much easier now. Ive used the filter and bulb daily for 1-3 hours daily for over a year so far.

The Honeywell HUV-145, Replacement Ultraviolet Bulb utilizes a soft glow dual ultraviolet bulb that greatly reduces the amount of airborne germs passing through the unit. These specially designed UV replacement bulbs are encased and feature a highly convenient handle that makes installation and removal a near effortless process. Intuitive design has removed the need of directly handling the bulbs or any of the connections. Simply slide the bulb housing in and out of the air purifier's housing. These bulbs have tremendous lasting power and should be replaced every 9 months if continually used for optimal performance.
