September 29, 2023Wow! Best air filter we ever have used!
I have asthma so I absolutely need to have home air filters. We were not happy with our older models by another brand, no matter how often we changed the filters. We watched a consumers report of the best home air filters and Honeywell scored above all the other brands in efficiency. We bought this model for our bedroom and it cleans the air so well that our room now smells as clean as a hospital room. I am no longer waking up with sinus headaches or asthma.

January 9, 2022Saved my life!!
I had my back yard fenced in so that my German Shepherds could be outdoors more. Thought that would help my allergies.. But I got much worse.I was coughing constantly because the dogs were bringing in dust and pollen from the yard. I have 2 Air genius 5 units. I finally stopped coughing!

We got our First Air Genius in 2017 during the massive fires in our area. It kept the smoke out of the air in the house and worked great! We have a 20 year old parrot and were concerned about her. It worked so well we bought another for the livingroom and are considering a third for the back of the house. We run them 24/7 cause of our allergies.

I've been using the AirGenius 5 for almost a year now. It makes the air very clean and makes my room very comfortable and free of pollen and allergens. I cleaned the filter today by vacuuming the pre-filter with a brush attachment. It worked very well and I could see the filter getting totally clear of particle dust, etc. I washed the permanent filter and put it out in the sun to dry for awhile and inserted it back into the unit easily. It is great to be able to wash the filter, very ecological! I would highly recommend this air filter to anyone with allergies and to clean the air of smoke.

Love the air purifier it's in a home with little smoke from cigarettes but the filter is slightly stained and i've been washing it often for years now. where can i get a new filter for it? can someone from honey well please message me.

I've had the the two of them running since receiving them about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I have no complaints, they are relatively quiet. Need to observe them a little longer.

I purchased my first Honeywell AirGenius 5 Air Cleaner a couple of months ago for my bedroom. I have a ceiling fan and noticed all the dust and lent swirling in the air... the Honeywell AirGenius 5 Air Cleaner does an amazing job clearing up the air which has helped with my allergys.. I have since purchase a 2nd unit for my living room... Theyre awesome...

I had on old Honeywell HEPA style Air cleaner years ago which worked great so I thought I would give this unit a try. My allergies get pretty bad at my new house so I had nothing to lose. I noticed right away my trips to the tissue dispenser went down. I changed the pre-filter with a new K filter after 3 months but had the same problem another user here had, the filter reset button doesn't work. I tried pushing for 5 sec all over the OK button area thinking the touch pad shifted but to no avail. Marked the date on the calendar and moved on. All and all, highly recommended!

I have cleaned the filter, let it dry overnight, but cannot reset the filter status. The lights should all be off when the ok button is pressed, or should they all be on? I have three lights, and cannot change this status.

Have you tried holding the OK button down? Per the manual: After the filters have been cleaned and placed back in the unit (dry), you will want to reset the indicator. To do this, 'touch' the 'OK' button for 2 or more seconds until the LED light is off and the fill 'chart' is not illuminated.

This thing has saved me many a headache. In Alberta, Canada we no longer have summer, we have fire and smoke. Smoke gives me headaches, chest tightness and congestion and at the worst of times, nausea & dizziness. I blasted this sucker all day in my small gaming room at home, so when I got home I had some relief from our new smoke-filled apocalyptic world.

Had it on for 2 nights so far and already sleeping better and waking up less congested... Only thing I notice is the oscillation is a little loud on sleep setting probably because the fan isn't masking the sound... Otherwise working great!

My unit puts off this horrible smell. I cant describe it, but upon reading reviews on other sites, there have been several complaints about it as well. I called the 800 listed on the unit for help. The customer service rep was unable to help at all. Is there someone that can contact me about this awful smell? The instructions indicate to keep the doors closed in the room where the unit will be used, but we have to keep all the doors open or the room will be unbearable to stay in. Any ideas what is causing this smell? Is it harmful? Im assuming yes. ?? Hoe can the smell be eliminated? Or do I need to return the product? Ive been using it for over a month hoping the smell will eventually disappear.
