Both my husband and I were suffering from very dry skin. The weather was getting colder and we were stuck in our dry house. The humidifier has worked wonders and in a very short time.

The humidifier was easy to set up and very easy to refill. All three settings, even the most powerful one, did not disturb my sleep. I have noticed the improvement that sleeping with the humidifier makes: no itchy, dry eyes, less dry skin and even an improvement in my nose getting more humidity - more physical comfort over all.

May 27, 2020EASY SETUP!!
I really appreciate how easy the setup is. This is my first humidifier and even though Id researched before purchasing, you never quite know until you open the box. One thing I wish Id realized beforehand was the spacing needed for the setup. I live in a small apartment and it wasnt easy to find a spot that would allow me to have the machine a foot away from the wall and 4 feet away from the bed, and up not on the floor to make sure theres good air circulation. And also the need for a tray underneath the unit. I realized once I opened the box, and read the manual I saw that the large print, they take no responsibility for water damage on furniture. That's fine and reasonable - I just wish I'd known that ahead of time because finding an suitable tray to fit underneath the unit wasn't an easy task - especially with having to online shop. I'm not sure if Honeywell has ever considered it, but offering a black tray with a 1 lip all around, would be a great thing. I would have added that to my purchase vs having to hunt one down before setting up its taken me a month to find one.

Great comfort having a humidifier that both filters the water as well as having a UV light to make the water as clean as possible before vaporizing it. Appreciate that it has 3 speeds and is fairly quiet too. Overall, very happy with it.

March 22, 2020All day humidity
On the lowest setting this will run all day on a full tank which is good for maintaining a base humidity. The highest setting will still run for several hours. This a big improvement over my previous humidifier and the benefits are noticeable especially during winter months. I've had it for two months with no issues. Regularly cleaning the filter is probably a good idea. I take it out and let dry once a week. I run it through water before putting it back.

This is the BEST humidifier on the market for hard water in my opinion. Daily/Weekly cleaning is very minimal and its pretty quiet. I live in a decent-sized studio apartment and it keeps the humidity steady. When I first turned it on, I turned it to high because the humidity was 18%. After about an hour and a half, it was up to 52%, so I switched it to low. I can keep it set to low all day and night and the humidity will stay around 42-45%, it's wonderful. The difference was tremendously noticeable after just the first night. I woke up with a clear nose, I slept with my mouth closed, my eyes weren't itchy and red I have severe dry eyes and skin, and my head didn't ache. Definitely get the humidity monitor with digital display, as well as the antimicrobial cleaning cartridge, and change the filter every 30 days. I have had this for a month and there is no slime in the base, nor is there the stale/moldy smell that was typical in humidifiers I had before. The tank and base are completely separate from the machine, so the chance of mold and mildew building up seems next to impossible to be able to occur. I don't have a dishwasher, so every week I wipe the base and tank with vinegar and it works just fine. I pour a decent amount of vinegar into the tank and shake it vigorously without the cleaning cartridge and after rinsing both the tank and base thoroughly, there is never a lingering smell of vinegar. Do NOT waste your time researching humidifiers, this is hands down the best one out there for hard water! I am not certain if its meant for filtered or distilled water, but if it is, get it!

This product keeps the air in my 20x20 bedroom just right and I barely notice it running on low and moderate setting. It is audible at the highest setting but it is a soothing whir. Best of all, no more dry, cracking skin or bloody noses in the morning! I wouldn't say that it is completely going to eliminate the white powdery residue in your house unless you use filtered or distilled water but it makes a huge difference compared to many other comparable units.
