Why is the back of my mini-fridge open?
It's normal. This is to allow proper airflow to the compressor. The wires you see connect the compressor to the unit. The compressor needs to breathe and be properly ventilated in order to run efficiently. Most refrigerators have an exposed back where heat from the compressor can be exhausted.
Where should I place my mini fridge?
The refrigerator should be placed in a well-ventilated indoor place on ground that is flat and sturdy. Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the refrigerator in moist or watery places to prevent rust or reduction of insulation.
