Customer Reviews For The Honeywell 24000, 99.97% HEPA Replacement Media Filter, Genuine (OEM)

I recommend only buying Honeywell pre-filters and media filters, as they do work well. I have asthma and they effectively filter out pollen, smoke, and kitchen smells. I previously purchased pre-filters and a media filter from a third-party company, and they emitted a strange smell. From now on, I am buying only Honeywell replacement pre-filters and media filters.

Filters were delivered quickly. Filters arrived in very good condition and replacing the filters was easy. Carbon pre filter is helping to reduce odors.

I've had the Honeywell Air Cleaner for over 15 years and it's still going strong. The new filter makes a big difference. I bought another Hepa from Amazon, but it was nothing like the quality of Honeywell's. I sent it back. I have used the air cleaner through the devastating fires we had several years ago. It worked amazingly. I purchased a smaller version of the air cleaner so we could use it when we stay in hotel rooms. I bought another large one and use it in the 2nd bedroom for guests. I only buy Honeywell.

This particular filter unit is in our master bedroom and I noticed two things after the installation of the new HEPA filter. One substantially less dust on any surface in fact none at all and the second thing is noticeably quieter operation due to flow resistance being reduced by the use of the new filter.

Heads up to everybody, never buy filters from any other source, as they may have sat for weeks or months in a smelly warehouse and so may arrive practically worthless. I always order direct from Honeywell and get great results: nice, clean filters that have been handled to spec and delivered to me in the same condition you'd expect if they were delivered to NASA. Honeywell makes the best products for air purification bar none, well above retail grade, so it makes sense to get replacement filters direct, even if its a few bucks more, definitely worth it in the long run. PS: Honeywell should NEVER stop making or attempt to improve the 50250 unit, leave it as is! and Thanks-

This is the only place I could find the original OEM filter for my Honeywell HEPA Machine. PROS: It's full height, OEM, and supposed to last 3 years. CONS: a bit pricey and I had to pay $17 shipping. Despite the CONS I will definitely purchase again in 3 years. Fast shipping and arrived complete with a pre filter. Two thumbs up!

I am VERY satisfied with this product and the air purifier we have. We have 2 other Honeywell air purifiers, and I am very satisfied with them as well. I try to purchase only the Honeywell products.

The quality of this is better than what you can buy elsewhere. The price is similar.

I appreciate even though the item was out of stock that they kept in touch with me and that they processed the order as soon as it came in for our older Honeywell room filter that we still use.

Before ordering these replacement filters, I had read many reviews from other sources Amazon etc.. There were many highs/lows in the reviews, mostly having to do with quality of the non-OEM parts. I wanted reliable, quality products, and I didn't want to deal with having to do returns etc. for faulty parts received. I am happy with my purchase through Honeywell. The parts were back-ordered for a bit which wasn't ideal, but I got an email when they were back in stock and the ordering/delivery process was smooth and without issue.

I'd rather get the OEM here than from other sellers online- they're not really OEM type ,they're probably not true hepa filters you might pay a little more but at least you get true true HEPA filter, and that's worth it to me.

Good quality. It is pricey.

My Honeywell true HEPA air purifier has been working 24/7 for years and this replacement filter kit is all I needed more more easy breathing. I change the pre-filter when its visibly dirty about quarterly and replace the HEPA filter annually or less if it looks good.

Effective air purifier and very easy to install.

I have asthma and this Hepa filter does the trick for me. You only replace this filter every five years. Only buy the replacement from the Honeywell Store to obtain a perfect fit for the air unit.
