This fan is very well built, without a doubt the quietest motor I've ever heard, I have all Hunter fans and I will will definitely purchase a Honeywell for any replacements. It is so quiet that you don't even know it's on. I did cut 2 3/4 inch off the mount drop and drilled a new pin hole so I would have a little more clearance. Thank God I didn't cut any more off , another 1/4 inch and I wouldn't have had room to bolt it together.
