Works well with the push button door chime. We use the same transformer to light up our outside address light, which is lit all the time, with low voltage less than 10v. The voltage required for the doorbell is reduced upon activation. The Honeywell transformer works better than the other ones we tried that we purchased over the counter.
I am hearing impaired and I can hear our new doorbell with the chimes, 7 second, ring!! We needed the transformer so that we could install and use the doorbell without batteries. Doorbell with necessary transformer are working as described and we are happy.
