Our wired doorbell needed replacement so I opted for a modern wireless product. First I tried a Heath Zenith unit from Home Depot with decent reviews but it was low volume, cheap tinny sounding and worst of all, did not transit when placed on a metal door frame. I returned it and then read the reviews on this Honeywell model. It was delivered in 2 days via Amazon. It is everything promised and more. Volume control, choice of tones and excellent transmission without interference in our foyer approx 20 ft even when mounted on aluminum door frame. Also uses only 3 AA batteries rather than C type on Heath Zenith. Excellent product!
