This safe is exactly as advertised. It’s strong without compromising space. I’m def not scared to hold my valuables in it as it feels like it would take quite sometime to get into. Definitely would buy another because I’m getting full.
This is a nice safe that is the perfect size for holding all of the household documents and the like you would want kept in a secure place. Not as heavy or as strong as I would like and wont be putting anything of real monetary value inside. I think I could pry this open in about 15 minutes. I also have problems with the locking mechanism forgetting the pass code I entered. I emailed the Honeywell Store on a Sunday and received a call back the next day. They would have replaced the safe with a new one, but since the safe if bulky and I already trashed the shipping boxes, at my request, they sent me a replacement lock mechanism. I haven’t installed it yet, but I’m sure it will fix the problem. The Honeywell Store offered great support and were very accommodating and I will look to them first when purchasing an item I need and they carry…BTW: The also offered an additional discount when I made the original purchase. They seem to be a no BS company and no matter how good or bad a product is, I will buy from them in the future because of their “service after the sale.”
This safe is a knockout. It does exactly what I want it for and has plenty of useable space. There was a minor mix up when got it and the customer service folks took care of it quickly, painlessly and nicely. Couldnt ask for a better experience or product.
