After another long Winter living in a closed up house, we decided to install an air cleaner to freshen things up, remove odors from cooking and smoke. This unit Honeywell F57B was the only unit we could find that had dimensions that would fit a residential stick-built house. My wife insisted on a flush-mount so that greatly narrowed our choices. Our house has trusses 24 on center, so it was a good fit be sure to measure VERY carefully. Build a box between the trusses for adequate support and screw the housing into the box. Position the housing about 1/16 above the sheet rock to accommodate the trim pieces. Be sure to notch the box out so the hinges and latches work properly. Replace the ionizer and grate. Wire it up and you're good to go! A little more work than I expected, but the results will be worth it.

November 29, 2012So far so good , had it running for 48 hrs in meeting room ,seems to be working fairly good cleaning the air . Wiil need more time to be sure
