I needed a thermostat that would control both Heat and Cooling with the setting of the Temp. It also has 7 days and 4 times per day for adjustments. A great device.

This is the second time we have purchased this thermostat. We installed them on our current home and have saved hundreds of dollars in cooling costs. We program the thermostat to cool the house before we return home, but it stays warmer during the day. Saves about $200 a month in the Florida summer. We recently installed them in our new home. We made a mistake in installation and all three units were blowing hot. We called the Honeywell number on the package insert on a Sunday over Memorial Day weekend. There was a pleasant, competent tech the helped us figure out our error and get them all working beautifully. Great thermostat and great company.

The thermostat arrived before the anticipated delivery date but I was under the weather until today 02/22/2014. After gathering my tools I removed the old thermostat and installed and programmed the new thermostat in approximately 15 minutes. Since my system is only 2 wires for heating it is almost impossible to make a wiring mistake. It really is worth the price of the thermostat value for your buck. The most difficult thing I had to face was separating the wall plate of the new thermostat from the rest of the thermostat. It was on really tight.
