This product is everything it says it is. It was easy to install myself and the instructions esp. the video were precise and very helpful. If you are looking for a humidifier to install this is the one.

Good Unit - Poor Installation Template - 12/21/2011

I installed the unit and had problems during the installation due to the template being too large. The resulting hole in the sheet metal did not provide enough sheet metal around the perimeter of the unit to allow installation per the instructions and adjustments had to be made to properly secure the unit to the furnace ductwork. Th e two-conductor wire that was provided was somewhat confusing as only one cunductor is needed for the installation. The fan on the unit is productes more noise than expected. Other than that, the installation was OK and the unit seems to be performing adequately.

I bought this unit from honeywells online store. It has installation kit included. The price was much better here than any retail stores. Installation is involved, I do not think I would have been able to do it myself. It runs good so far.
