Amazing quality - 05/08/2015
We have had this fan or at least a slightly older version for about 10 years now, it runs every single night while we sleep and for awhile it ran almost 24 hours a day when our roommate borrowed it for a few months and it has never faltered. It is astounding to know that this product is still working like it just came out of the box. I recommend this fan to everyone.

Neglected to mention...the only difference from the ht900 vs the ht 800 is the noise level. The 900 is quieter. The air movement or cfm is the same. The ht800 gives the impression of a stronger air flow due to its noisier sound level. To me, air flow is the same between the two.
Great fan does what it is supposed to do - 08/05/2014
This fan does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have never been let down by Honeywell products. It moves a lot of air for its size. You can pay a lot more for the same kind of fan elsewhere. Stick with Honeywell as they stand directly behind their products. This is a very reliable, true tested piece of workmanship as is all Honeywell products. Well done!

Loved it while it worked. My husband works 3rd shift and we all need air circulation to sleep so our fans are pretty much always in use. We lost the info for the one year warrenty it stopped with working after about 3 months of use, but Im looking for info on how to change the fuse - maybe that wad the problem?
Cleaning issues - 05/13/2014
Reviewer: Gary Tasaka
I purchased this fan from Costco and really like the product mainly due to its portability and sturdiness. Works well too. However, my big issue is taking the grill out to clean. Why didnt the designers make cleaning user friendly instead of having to go through the hassle of trying to unscrew the back screw in order to unhinge the grill? I still havent been successful trying to remove the front grill and therefore I have to contend with a dusty fan. Sure you can brush the outside of the front and back but a major hassle to get to the inside. Next time, please make the design easier to remove the grill. Thank you for a very good product with an irritating flaw.

Heres how to clean - 06/09/2013
From the product manual: • Gently lay the fan face down on a table. • Remove the front grille by unscrewing the screws located on the back of the fan using a standard Phillips head screw driver. NOTE: The screws will remain attached to the rear housing to ensure they are not lost. Do not try to force the removal of the screws. • Lift the rear housing by the handle to separate from the front grille.
HOW TO CLEAN THIS FAN???? - 04/11/2013

Really like this fan. It does perform well and does what it is supposed to do. Here is my issue, and it is my only issue with this product, I keep a very clean home and clean on a regular basis, this fan is BLACK!!!!! How do you CLEAN this fan???!!! Being BLACK every spec of dirt shows and I cannot get to the blades well even with a toothbrush!! Please someone tell me how to take this thing apart to clean it! Otherwise, love this product.
Customer Service Response:
From my personal experience an air compressor with a fine attachment to blow out dust works well. Just make sure you do it out doors. You can also use a vacuum with a small attachment to vacuum out the dust. I believe the interior space of the fan is sealed to insure safety, especially for children. If you would like to seek additional cleaning tips for your model, we can connect you with the manufacturer's customer service hotline.
