Programming: Up to 7 programs (7 on/off) per week. A program can apply to a single day or repeat every day. For each day of the week, the user can choose: sunset /sunrise programming or their own on/off time, or one of each (e.g. sunrise and midnight).

This unit works with Incandescent, halogen and fluorescent lighting (compatible with electronic ballasts). Has a large white backlit display with a night light mode option for easy reading in dark areas with confirmation LED for at-a-glance load status (on or off). Random mode activates lights randomly to simulate a presence when away from home. Easy intuitive 3 button interface with no door to open. Automatic daylight savings - no need to reprogram.

Timer Switch Replacement with RPLS541. - 02/29/2012

I installed the RPLS541A timer switch approximately two weeks ago I am extremely pleased with the device so far. Installation was very simple I only had to remove the old switch, replace it with the 541A, place the jumper on the correct terminals of the remote 3-way switch, and reset the circuit breaker. Programming was very easy as well, much easier that the old timer switch that I was replacing. I like the backlighting feature and the fact that there is no battery to replace in the future like the old switch. When the switch operates, it is completely silent. The mounting is flush, it looks great and its easy to use. I already ordered another one for a different location. I can see ordering more in the future. This is a high quality, good-looking device and it operates perfectly.
