The Honeywell TE219ELW Personal Weather Station is a versatile and economical time and weather monitor that's perfect for just about any location. With programmable warnings, and a remote sensor that monitors outdoor temperatures, the TE219ELW can do it all. The TE219ELW uses technology to receive signals from the US Atomic clock making it the most precise form of timekeeping on the planet. This product can be mounted on the wall, or placed on a desktop. The unit's display is backlit for easy night viewing. As an added convenience, this system contains a programmable ice warning alarm, which lets you know when a frost is predicted so you can take extra precautions. This product comes with one wireless remote temperature sensor that has a transmission range of up to 150 feet. Additional remotes can be purchased to monitor weather in up to three locations. This product is backed by Honeywell, and includes a 1 year warranty.

| Outside temp always shows 5-6 degrees higher than the true outdoor reading. No way to adjust. I'm a little disappointed. My old Oregon Scientific was much more accurate. |

| I could not get this item working nore than two days at a time. I tried tech. assistance twice but the system would not work more than two-three days before it would quit transmetting tempt. readings.
I returned it and got a Oregon scientific system that has been working great for over three years. |

| The Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer was purchased to replace an old one that died. It was easy to setup and we're very pleased. We didn't need all the extras, just wanted a basic unit to give us the temperature and time/date. It is perfect. |

| Quality unit. Comes with one remote sensor and was difficult to purchase the other two sensors we needed. We had to go to the Heidiki web site and talk with a representative to have the sensors sent to us. The sensors were on dozens of other web sites but out of stock or unavailable. |

| When the indoor and outdoor units were sitting side by side they were about 2 degrees apart. I would have expected them to read the same. No adjustment to correct for this. Answer from Honeywell was Plus or minus 2 degrees is the specification. Sorry, I should have purchased a different unit. |
Q: HOW DO I SET THE TIME ZONE ON MY TE219ELW?
A: 1. Press MODE button so that the Day of the Week abbreviation is displayed to the right of the time; for example: pm 2:37tu
2. Press and hold UP arrow button for 3 seconds selecting the desired time zone.
3. Keep holding UP button until the desired US time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern) is highlighted on the display’s US map, located on the upper right corner from the time.
4. Release the UP button. The Time Zone is set.
Q: HOW TO SET THE ALARM?
A: To set any of the alarms available, select the desired alarm mode by pressing ALARM ON/OFF button. Every time this button is pressed, it will show different alarm mode. Then press and hold ALARM ON/OFF button until the alarm time digits will flash. Finally, set the desired alarm time (hours, minutes) using UP or DOWN arrow buttons and press ALARM ON/OF exiting from the programming mode and confirming the setting.
