Took forever to set up, won't work.

Had a power outage a couple of weeks ago and purchased this generator. Took about 3-4 hours to set up, and once it was all set up, it would start, run for about 15 seconds, then die. Will be returning to store. Other neighbors bought generators that were set up in minutes and worked flawlessly.
